The Lotus Temple
The superb Bahá’à House of Worship, even known as the Lotus Temple because of its nine sides and fabulous central dome, is an architectural masterwork. Formed of white concrete and marble, the whole structure appears as delicate as the flower it looks like. Constructed in 1986, this temple has since fascinated more than 70 million visitors, making it one of the most visited attractions in the world.
