Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr more commonly known by her ring name Charlotte Flair, is a professional wrestler, actress, and writer. Charlotte Flair is a second-generation wrestler, she is the daughter of WWE legend Ric Flair.
Flair was born on April 5, 1986, in Charlotte, North Carolina, U.S. She married Riki Johnson in 2010 and divorced him in 2013 and then married Bram in 2013 and divorced in 2015. She was trained by his father Ric Flair along with Sara Del Rey and Lodi. Charlotte made his debut in 2012.
Charlotte won the NXT Championship in 2014 and was then promoted to the main roster in 2015. She is a record 10 times women’s champion. In the latest wrestling news, Charlotte just won the SmackDown Championship when she defeated Bayley last Sunday at Hell in a Cell. The latest speculation is that WWE wants Charlotte to be the champion during the latest WWE Draft and many fans wonder if the Queen would lose her title to The Hugster.
However many fans speculate that WWE giving the Queen so many short titles run is because they want her to eventually break her father’s record for most title reigns in WWE history. So it would come as no surprise if she loses the title and wins it back on Monday night raw. Bayley and Charlotte are still part of SmackDown as they won’t be eligible to be drafted until the October 14 edition of Monday Night Raw.
As Charlotte has won 10 titles already, many fans have started considering her the greatest women’s wrestler of all time. However, if we look closely at all of her title reigns, most of them have been short and not very memorable. Although few of her title reigns have been spectacular
One great example of some of the not so memorable title reigns of Charlotte Flair is when at the 2019 Money in the Bank The Queen defeated Becky Lynch and won the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship. However, Charlotte Flair literally held the title for just minutes as Bayley came down to the ring and cashed in her Money in the Bank contract and beat Charlotte to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Even the latest record-breaking tenth title reign of Charlotte which saw her win the WWe title for the 10th time, it seemed like this was the time when the queen would go on to have a memorable title run, but that wasn’t the case as Flair just lost the championship in a couple of days.
This along with many others show that most of Charlotte Flair’s short title reigns were there just to rack up the numbers and help her eventually break her father’s all-time record for most title wins. However even if Charlotte Flair ends up breaking her father’s record for the most titles won in the WWE, the title runs like these where she just held the title for a few minutes or a few days would just look out of place if she breaks her father’s record.
